New river level service from Fishing Wales

Check river levels along the Teifi for free (after the usual tedious registration palaver)

Having entered your details, probably for the thousandth time, youll get a choice from a list of rivers amongst which are the three river level staions along the Teifi, sited at Tregaron, Llandysul and Abercych (listed as Glan Teifi).

When you access the page there are two charts - from the FW site -

"The two charts below show river levels at 15 minute intervals for the last 24 hours and 5 days.  The mean (average) summer and winter river levels are also shown for this site. River Levels charts are usually updated twice a day, at 7am and 6pm."

Although water clarity isn't described this is a very handy tool to use when deciding whether to get down to the water.

Due to popular demand the RC page will be revived this season after a spell in the doldrums - watch this space.

I've retained some of the last seasons shots - in a pretty random way - to allow for comparisons to be made over the years.Click on the titles or images below to enter.
